What are dreams? They are a sense of thought, images or emotions occurring during sleep. So a dreamer is a visionary. Barack Obama is a visionary. He had a vision to be President of The United States from a child and he is living his dreams.
Abraham Lincoln was a boy he husked corn three days to pay for a second hand copy of “The Life of Washington.”After he read the book he said, “I don’t intend to delve, grub, and shuck corn, split rails and the like.”
“What do you want to be now?” asked Mrs. Crawford.
“I will be president,” confidently said the boy.
“You will make a purity president with all your tricks and jokes, now, wouldn’t you?” said the woman.
" I’ll study and get ready, and the chance will come,” concluded Abe,

Eddie, how can I live my dreams? I too old, or sickly, feeble, I am out of a job,I have lost a loved one and I am not in a good situation. I have been robbed! No dear friend you can still live your dreams!

How to be Victoriou over Damaged Emotions! Part 2

Have you ever felt so alone and neglected? Nobody, sometimes seems to care? Well this fellow did in John Chapter 5: 1-15.He was very sick and he went the pool in Bethesda to dip in it expecting to be healed but nobody, and I mean nobody helped him. Then Jesus came to him! Jesus saw him and knew he was there for a long time! Jesus called him and he followed Jesus by faith! He was healed!

Dear friends, listen God love you very much! We do not know why bad thing happens to good people! Sometime there is no answer but the voice of God! We have so many hurt emotions! Allow God to heal you! He will!
I have been there and He has come to me so many times! As a poem states;
My Father Knows
So often in a time of stress,
In hours of trial and unrest,
This thought comes like a sweet caress,
“My Father knows.”
And often in a time of pain,
When I am tempted to complain,
This tender thought comes back again,
“My Father knows.”

Have you ever asked the question,” Does anybody care for me?”” Does anybody care about how I feel?”
Someone said jokingly Neurotics are people who build castles in the air.Psyhotics are those who move into them and psychiatrics are the ones who collect the rent.
Why is this topic so important today? And why should we deal with damaged emotions? Because if we don’t then:
A. We develop a low self esteem
B .It can destroy our dreams.
C. It can ruin relationships, and
D. It can sabotage our service to God.
John 5:1-5 Jesus talks about caring for people with their problems. So this message is how can we be healed from our damaged emotions? What does God s words speak about this issue? Does God care how I feel? How much are you worth to God?
I believe that God loves you and you are very important to God! As stated in these passages.

Rebuiding Shattered Dreams

To rebuild shattered dream we need to develop a prayer life.”Ask and it shall be given to you..For every one that asked received.” I also believe that we must develop an action plan as Abraham did in Hebrews 11:8-19 He kept on dreaming and doing.
Keeping on
I’ve dreamed many dreams that never came true,
I’ve seen them vanish at dawn;
But I‘ve realized enough of my many dreams, thank God
To make me want to dream on.

So dear friends we can rebuild shattered dreams by developing a positive vision by faith, powerful prayers and action plans to do something for Him,Never let life rob of the joy in Jesus.To know that God loves you and he will be with you always.You are a somebody!

How to Rebuild Shattered Dreams

Text: Proverbs 29:18   “Where there is no vision the people perish; but he that kept the law, happy is he.”

       What is the meaning of Vision? To me it means dreams of what can be and will be. Conrad Hilton who owned Hilton Hotels in his book  “ Be My Guest” he shared that  in chapter 1 “You’ve Got To Dream” he had a dreams to build hotels, and he did.

       Sometimes as life continues our dreams can be shattered by health, by being fired, by divorce, by losing a love one, and a host of other things. So what do we do? How can we overcome devastating happenings in our lives? How can we rebuild shattered dreams?

        To rebuild shattered dreams begins rebuilding our attitude by developing a positive faith. In the Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

      What is faith? First what is it not? It is not emotional, nor intellectual. Faith is transferring ones trust to someone or something. We need to develop a positive attitude because our attitude determines what we see and what we feel.

     We can begin a positive attitude by developing a positive faith and this begins with trusting in Jesus as our Savior and Lord!

    

Is marriage between a man and a woman -continued

Marriage is ordained from God!

Gen.2:18-25,Matt.19

1. It is natural.vr 18 "It is not good that man shall be alone."
2.Marriage is an intimate union.Gen. 2:24, Matt.19:25 Eph. 5:30-32
a. Leave-wholly give up
b.and shall cleave to his wife. glued- one flesh
one flesh- a personal relationship or total personal relationship of one man and one wife in which there is a union without the loss of individual personality.Unity of body, mind and soul.

3  Marriage is a lasting relationship.
4  People get married because we need fellowship, partnership Matt.18:19 and for intimacy 1 Cor7:1-2
5  People marry because of love. I Cor. 13

 What is Love? People throw around that word!   I love you! What is the meaning of love?  How do you know if you are in Love?

What is Modern they Marriage???

                                                                                                                                                                                What is modern day marriage? Is modern day marriage just between a man and a woman? should it be between two men as a t.v sictom has it?or is it a threesome?.or mix match"?  Where is the line drawn?
                                                                                                                                                                       Donna and Myself have been married for 35 years! Wow! Boy, oh Boy! That's what people say today! How did you all do it? Married to only one person! How does it work? Why  between a man and a woman? Why not between a man and a man, or a woman and a woman? Why is marriage so important? Why not just live together? Come on Eddie get with it! Stop being  prejudice, and so judgemental!

Well dear friends, I  am so excited to share with you, because God loves you! God according to the scriptures ordained marriage!

Psalms 68:6- " God setteth the solitary in families: he bring  out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in the land." God give His blessings to the home!
In "Baker Ddictionary of Christian Ethics" he states, " Marriage is an exclusive lifelong bi unitary community of fidelity or truth(pledge) between husband and a wife sealed in a physical relationship. In marriage, " A man leaves his father and mother and joins himself to his wife, and they become one." Gen.2:24 Matthew 19:6

Marriage is a commitment to each other! It is not a contract! Marriage is ordained from God!

Humanism! Today states that we should take our feeling ,and work our ethics toward the Bible. I say, we must take our ethics from the Bible and work it out towards us!

God loves you, and so do I. I will  be sharing more on this important topic!

Overcoming Feelings of Discouragement.

 Do you feel discouraged? have something happened in your life where you feel you have hit a wall? well I have! this week my Principal called me in and told me because of budget cuts I have been surplus. My wife who is taking a new M.S drug have to stop taking it until her white blood cells have come up. whee!

In 1 Samuel chapter 17 vrs 1-11.We see the Israelite's facing a big Philistine named Goliath. They are facing a mighty wall.



He is about 11ft and 4 inches tall,heavy armour and a lot of offensive weapons.
He had a very loud voice vr. 8-10

Goliath is a picture of satan full  of pride.
David is a picture of Christ. More tomorrow.

Sometimes Goliaths hang around for sometime!I believe,you have to be patient and adjust to the situations,even though you are going through a wave of emotions!In time,the wave will subides for awhile.

Where is Heaven?

1.Heaven is far off- Isa 33:17 -Thine eyes see the King in His beauty they shall behold the land is far off.

2.God looked down from heaven Psalm 33:13-14 "The Lord look down from heaven;He behold all the sons of men vr 14 From the place of habitation he look upon all the inhabitants of the earth."

3. Jesus is in heaven John 17:24

Three Heavens:

1. The stratosphere  Acts14:17

2. Great Universe Isa. 14:12-14

3. The third heaven 2 Cor.12:2-4 Paul saw a third heaven

Heaven is a place! it's real, and awaiting for all those who trust Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour!

Do you know Him? call upon Him, ask His forgiveness, and ask Him to come into your heart today!

When I die is there a life Beyond? part 3 "Heaven"

When I die is there life beyond?

   Well so far we saw that a.We can be sure of a resurrection, b.What will our body be like, and today "Heaven"

When we die ,and we are born again we will go to a place called a Heaven : Luke 10:17-20

Heaven is not a state of mind, but Heaven is a place.  Hebrews 12:23  "The church of the first born which are written in heaven."

Heaven is a city-St. John 14:23 Jesus said it is a place. John 14:2-3 " In my Father's house are many mansions:if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also."

Heaven is a place!It is impossible for Jesus to lie( Titus1:2) a town, a city filled with born again believers with a glorified body of flesh and bones.

Rev. 21:2 "and I John saw the Holy City, a  new Jersualem,coming down from God out of Heaven." 

So where is Heaven? more tomorrow
