I Need You and You Need Me and Me need you
“I need you, you need me, and I need you!”
This was a song, dad and I would sing at night, hugging each other before we went to bed.Dad was in his 80’s and it was a deep affectionate love to each other,oh how do I miss my dad!In the following verses, the Apostle Paul shares with us his thoughts of what we need to do as the body of Christ,which are: prayer, encouragement and caring fo each other needs.
2 Corinthians 3-11 verse 11 “Ye also helping together by prayer for us ,that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.”
I believe, as we face difficult transitions in our lives, it is praying for each other that helps activates the body of Christ to do ministries
First, it stirs the spirit in us to prayer for each other, which are going through hard times...
Secondly, prayer is the trigger that moves God to help the person or persons in need.
Thirdly, prayer is exercised by faith in action.
What does it mean to be a friend?
A helping hand to the journey end
A loyal heart and a loving one to the end
No task too great for a friend to do.
A true friend will not let you stand alone!
Dear friends, I believe that when one of our own members, in the body of Christ go through transitions in their lives. We need to minister to their needs through prayer,words of encouragement and to give a helping hand.
The Bible states,” Greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
I miss my dad, he is in heaven and one day we will reunite and will hug, and sing and say again, “I need you and you need me, me and you, you and me!”
Love you Dad! You were the best friend I have ever had! Thank for always being there for my family and myself!Let us as brothers and sisters put away petty stuff, forgive,pray,forbear, and help one another.

The Angel Biker Rider- Part 2
I said, “Hello, this is Pastor Smatt,” Replying in a low tone.” “Did you call me?” A terrified voice said on the other end of the line,
“No?” still speaking in a low tone, “Yes you did, I have it right here on my caller I.D. that you called me!” “Is this a joke?” I replied.
The man said, “No! I am sitting here with a gun to my head and I was about to commit suicide when this call came up with your caller I.D and the church telephone number!"
He continued speaking in a loud, terrified voice, “God, told me that you are a Godly man and that you are going to lead me to Jesus.” I was totally stunned and numb at first.In a low,calm voice I said, “OK’” The man then spoke in an elevated voice, “I need to know Jesus!” I then proceeded to share with him the scriptures concerning Jesus’ Birth, Death, and Resurrection. I also shared with him the steps to salvation. I said, “What you need to do is to repeat after me, dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save me!” The man repeated these words and immediately I heard of sigh of relief.
The man then spoke excitedly,” My wife has just walked in the door, hey honey! Guess what I just did, I invited Jesus into my heart!” “Pastor Smatt, I will be in church this Sunday and I will tell everyone what I just did!”
“I will see you Sunday, Reverend Smatt.” He hanged the telephone up.
I was stunned and a feeling of deep awe at what had just taken place came over me, it left me speechless and praising the Lord in my heart!
Sunday came! I was so excited to see what God is going to do. The service started but there were no new faces in the congregation. My heart sank as the service moved on and there was no sign of the man.
Then it happened, quickly and suddenly! I was standing in the pulpit giving the announcements when I looked out the window and there in the corner of my eyes I could see a man, dressed in white suite drove up on a motorcycle...
In a few seconds the door in the sanctuary had swung back and forward and a tall man dressed in a white suit, with a pony tail, sat in the back of the church!
Silence came over the church, as if you could have heard a pin drop! I then proceed to share with the congregation what took place Wednesday night and the telephone conversation between caller and me.
When I finished, the tall man dressed in white suit, with a pony tail, stood up and his face just glowed and he had the sweetest smile on his face.
In a sweet voice he said, “This preacher is telling the truth! This happened to my friend and I am here to testify to it! My friend got saved!”
He then walked out and the doors just swung back and forward! I could see, through the window the man getting on his bike and he sped off!
There was a tremendous feeling of joy and awe that swept over the congregation that day.
Even today, I will never forget this awesome experience of the visitation from God, the angel biker rider and the positive attitude that I had taken to produce an everlasting result.
Dear friends today are you going through a valley, a struggle deep within your soul, as an old hymn states,” Turn your eyes upon Jesus and look full into His wonderful face and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.”Come to Jesus, today!

Resting in Him
Resting In Him

My presence go with thee ,and I wiil give thee rest, Exodus 33:14
I donot understand,dear Lord,
Why this has come,nor see
Why days are dark and night so long,
And clouds o’ershadow me.
Dost thou not understand ,my child,
Why clouds o’ercast the sky?
That without rain no rainbow bright
Could be, and flower’rs would die?
So in life,my precious one,
Shall I send only sun
To wither,scorch what dormant lies;
And little raindrops shun?
Come lay thy weary head and rest
Upon my breast-nor pine.
This from me;I know what’s best
Thy beauty to refine.
I wanted to share this poem with you dear friends because it is full of wisdom.
I too sturggle with my future ministry, finances and health. God’s Word reminds me,that His presence is always with me and I need to rest in Him!
God loves you very much that he sent His only Son,Jesus to die on the cross and rose from the grave! To give is eternal life and hope for today. Come to Jesus today!

Pressure, Pressure Everywhere What To Do, Oh! Dear!
Dear friends,
Do you feel and are experiencing pressure and the feeling of terror from everywhere? Pressures from the job, family, health, from families problems about your finances and world problems? What to do? Oh! Dear!
I know, because I am going through some of these same feelings! What to do? Here are what God shares with us in his Word. Paul and the Christians in Corinth were going through pressures in the city and bad news from the church and about riots in Ephesus -Acts 19:23-41.
Here what Paul answers to dealing with these pressures?
2 Corinthians 1:8-10 “For we would not brethren have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life; But we had the sentence of death in ourselves that we should not trust in ourselves but in God, who raiseth the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver in whom we trust that He will yet deliver us.”
What he saying here is this, trust in the Lord! Not in yourselves! You have got to take the focus off you and focus on Him! Because of the resurrection! The same power that rose Jesus and others from the dead, that same power from God, will help you through the pressures of life you are facing today! He will help you and He will deliver you!
So, here in these passages the apostle Paul is stating that they were in trouble in Asia but they will continue to trust In God for their protection and deliverance!
Dear friends, God will help you through your pressures you are facing today! Just put all your trust in Him, and off of yourself and the world, turn your eyes away from the world and look to Jesus!
Say with me, Dear Jesus, help me today, forgive me of my sins and come into my heart! Heal me Jesus and help me! In Jesus name, Amen!
