Who is God?From these passages we see that God is a person.
Gen 1:26-27 Then God said,” Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness;
1. The word image in Hebrew is shadow.
2. Likeness
Man is someway is the concrete reflection of God. God does not have a corporal body like man but is capable of doing the function of a physical man the examples can be seen in Isa.59;1- mouth of God and 2 Chronicles 16:9- eyes of God.
God can also be seen in the person of Christ Jesus!
2. God is a perfect person as seen in Isa.Chapter 6
a. God is Holy set apart from sin.
b. God is immanent because he is near and He is transcendent which means he is over all and no one controls Him! He is Lord!
Dear friends, God is a real person, He loves us so very much! The Bible states in John 3:16 “For God so love the world that He gave us His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life!”
Come to Jesus today by saying with me, “Jesus forgive me of my sins and come into my heart today, in Jesus name amen.”
What does the movie, “The Sound of Music” have in common with us today?
Austria and America National Anthem- Freedom from secular humanism!
As I was watching the movie “The Sound of Music” I asked myself what does this movie has to do with me today. The answer is freedom!
The Von Trapp family defied the Nazi regime whose theology was rooted in secular humanism! In one of the scene Max a friend to Captain Von Trapp said,” He does not care for politics and whose side he is on”, and the Captain replied,” O! You must!”
I reminded myself of the signers of the American constitution many were ministers.
We are in a war here in America! A war between Secular Humanism and Christianity!
A war between the way of life today as we know it and the new world order!
Let us stand firm in our beliefs and let our voices be known!
Vr 23 and these three men Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace,
Vr. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste, and spake we cast three men bound in the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the King, True O King
Vr 25He answered and said , I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt ;and the fourth is like the Son of God,
He answeredand said, I see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire ,and have no hurt and the formthe fourth is like the Son of God.
Today, God has called us to be different! These three young men dared to defy their leadership who was forcing them to obey their gods! They said No!
1.”They stared death because they saw the invisible as Moses did and did the impossible!” Hebrews chapter 11:23
2. Jesus was with them and God protected them. He saw let see 1,2,3 4, four men loose! Walking in the fire! Wow! Awesome!
3. God was glorified.
4. They were rewarded.
I believe that we must stand firm on what is Biblically right against what is socially or politically incorrect, no matter what the consequences will be and God will make a way, because He is the fourth man! The end is always victorious for us! Here is a quote, “The more you love Christ the more you hate sin.”
In Christ love, I dare you to be different for Him!
Today we are facing a battle for the hearts and minds of our young people. It's a war on our souls and our way of life! It's coming at us fast and furious, to seek and devour the hearts and the minds of young and the older people.What is it? It's called secular humanism under the umbrella of humanism.It's beng taught in our Public School System. God has been taken out because of the false statement of separation of Church and State!
Secular Humanism is a theology which espouses reason, ethics and justice, while rejecting the supernatural and religious dogma as a basis of morality and decision making.
It comes from deism.This is in direct conflict with believing in God as Supreme, Bible is God's Word to us and it is verbally inspired. We also work our ethics from the Word of God and not towards the Word of God!
I believe in the supernatural and that the Bible is verbally, inerrant and inspired Word of God! I also believe that we work our ethics from the Bible. I further believe that we must ask God to open doors in our public school system to expose our youth to God!

The Boys and Their Mission

In Daniel Chapter 3: 9-22 Three Boys are on a mission for God!
Have you ever been on a mission, to accomplish a goal that would or could be very costly but bring tremendous results to the lives of others?
Some years ago, while pastoring a church in central Florida I had to make a stand for godliness. I was told that several families were coming to church to do me harm because I refused to turn the church over to them.
Well, I waited and prayed and around 10:39 am. A woman drove up in her car. I waited patiently and prayerfully for her to meet me. Soon, there she was standing in front of me with anger in her eyes. I said to myself, “Well Lord this is it, I trust you to protect me and my family, In Jesus name!”
Standing before me in the entrance of the sanctuary I said to her, “Come and worship!”
In a horrified voice the lady said to me, “I cannot come in something is blocking the doorway, don’t you see Him!”
I replied.” No!” “Well, he is there and I cannot come in!” With that she left.

In these passages, three courageous men said to the world and to the leader of the government, “No, we will not serve you!”
Verses, 16-18“Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, answered and said to the king O Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer thee in this matter,
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning firery furnace,and He will deliver us out of thine hand ,O King.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O King we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”
Today the world and the government want us to worship them! They want to us to accept the secular humanistic theology, which is built on what is good for me and society; it rejects the supernatural and religious dogma. This is done by developing a selfish attitude like, me, me and I.It's called Deism an old religion.
These are manifested in gods of homosexuality, euthanasia, abortion, greed, lust, all forms of sexual immorality, money, power and fame!
Soon they will come and say," That we are too old, or sickly to get treatment and medicine, because it’s too costly to the government!
What can we do? I believe like these young men, we need to stand and say No! We will not serve you, or your gods, we only serve” The Lord Thy God!”
We will face persecutions, jail, ridicules, smears and death but I rather be in the presence of God then compromise to them! God will deliver us from evil!
Dear friends, we are on a mission like these boys, to live and proclaim the Word of God. No matter what the world wants us to do by accommodating them and no matter what hardships will come, God will make a way! He will provide for you.
WE must preach and stand up for Jesus and see His marvelous protection in our lives and watch the results that will make profound effects on the lives of others.
