  2 Tim.2:3-4 “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

   No man that entangled himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

 

      How many times have you heard this statement, “Hold the Line,” from people whom are in difficult situations and are facing a formidable opponent.   

      Today, Christians and their leaders are facing an unbelievable war with the flesh, the world and the devil.

  Timothy was facing intense persecutions and the apostle encouraged him to:

·       Endure hardships,

·       Not to be entangled with the world affairs.

 

  I firmly believe that so many Christians today are facing unbelievable battles spiritually and emotionally. I say, Dear friends, stand firm, hold the line,trust in Him and see the moving, mighty hand of God on your life!!  I also believe that God loves you and He will never forsake you.

       " If ye walk in my statues ,and keep my commandments ,and do them;.............

 

    Assad of Syria is a butcher and needs to be taken out but who will replace him!!  My question, as we, as a  Nation prepared to go to war, are we ready spiritually???  I say ,No!!!According to God's Word in the Book of Leviticus chapter 26, we  are in big trouble with our God!!!

 

• We have sinned against God's Word!!!!!!
•  We have immorality abounds!!!!
• We have accepted homosexuality and same sex marriage!!!!!
• We have racial divisions and hate!
• We rejected the verbal, inspired, inerrant authority of God's Holy  Word ,and it's Biblical teachings and authority!!!!!!
• Our leaders mock God's Word  by their attitudes and  actions !
 
• The bottom line is we are not ready spiritually! We can defeat this evil man but we need a revival! Our nation needs to turn back to God and His Word!!!!!!!

•   Let us all prayer for our Nation, and it's leaders, to experience a Holy Ghost Revival!!!!!!!

 

•    Our prayers and thoughts are with our nation, the innocent people of Syria and the Middle East!!!

 

                                                     Revival,repentance and renewal in our land!! God bless the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

What makes You Lose Your Joy?

 

Psalm 37:1-2

 

 Vr1. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the worker of iniquity.

Vr.2 for they shall be soon cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.”

 

   What makes you lose joy? I believe people can make you lose your joy.

 

   How do people make joy you lose your joy?

    The answers are the following: Their power, controlling issues, and rejection towards you. I also believe their lying and denying about untruths about you.

  So, what can we can we do? I believe the following from the scriptures:

 

·     We need to stop worrying about what they can do to us!!!

·     We need not be jealous of what they have.

·     We need to take solace, in that, their time is short, and they will reap what they sow!!!!

·     We also need to constantly refocus our joy in Jesus through prayer, bible study time, helping others, and placing ourselves last.

 

  Dear friends, I know how people can rob your of joy, and a piece of mind!  What I continue to daily is to practice these principles and life can be bearable because of Jesus.

Hope in Perilous Times

Here is Hope in Perilous Days

 

Psalm 37

                                                                             2 Tim. Chapter 3 “This knows also that perilous times shall come.”

 

  Wars and rumor of wars, crimes, failures, illness, immorality abounding, families being torn apart, moral leadership eroding, selfishness, disobedient went to parents etc.

 

  I feel that people are losing hope and are increasingly becoming hopeless.

 

In Psalms 37 God gives us principals to hold onto hope:

·     Fret not.

·     Trust in the Lord.

·     Delight thy self also in the Lord.

·     Commit thy way unto the Lord.

·     Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

·     Cease from anger and forsake wrath

·     Fret not thyself in any wise do evil

 

   Dear friends, as we see, and face the perilous end times, I believe we need to follow these principles, and our hearts will be encouraged to see us through these perilous days!!!!!

When Shall be These Things Be?

Matthew 24:1-6

Verse 3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world?”

 

   Eddie what's happening in the Middle East? Where are we going with this crisis? Syria, Israel, Iran, Russia, China .

 

   My friends, that is a good and tough question to answer.

 

So, here are the questions posed to Jesus:

·     .......Tell us when will these things be?

·     What will be the sign of your coming?

·     A

 

So here are a few things to ponder:

·     I believe problems will escalate.

·     I believe we could be heading for a third world war.

·     I believe that there will be devastation

·     I believe that Matt. 24 deals with the Second Advent.

·     I believe the first advent is the rapture of the church.

·     I believe he is showing here things that will happen before the rapture.

 

      What  must I do?

·     I believe we need to be ready, be alert, share the Gospel and be faithful to the Gospel!!!!!

 

·     I also believe that Christ is coming soon and those who have accepted Jesus into their hearts will be raptured.

 

  My friends, are you ready? How can I be ready Eddie? My saying this simple prayer,” Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, forgive my sins and come into my heart right now! In Jesus name!”
