Governmental reign of Idolatry led to the destruction, no not America, but Judah. We see an evil King of Judah Manasseh, son of Hezekiah. What did he do in this period of history that brought the judgment of God on a nation?

1.       He promoted Idolater.

2.       He supported perversions and murder

3.       He undermined the worship of t worship of God

4.       He persecuted the children of God and killed them

5.       God brought Judgment on the Nation.

Let us fast forward to America today. We have governmental leaders, in our nation that supports the following:

1.       Muslim religion. The Muslim religion is a false religion. Why? because like all others it based on works and not by faith.

2.       Abortions and homosexuality abounds

3.       Drugs like marijuana abounds

4.       Youths are supported to rebel against all authority

5.       War on cops

6.       Idolatry abounds

7.       Christians are persecuted for our beliefs.

8.       The attack on institutions by secular progressives to promote the me first philosophy

  Chronicles 7 :14     “if My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Jesus said in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the father but by me.”

In the Orlando Sentinel on December 27 the 2015 states, “Deputies: 70 year old man scuffle about food led to chaotic scene at Disney Springs.” Orlando, Florida.

“Unfortunately, some of our guest seated on the first floor heard a rumble and loud noises from the floor above. Some ran out of our restaurant incorrectly reported the sound they headed as gunfire.” Stated by Mark Weissberg, Bongos Cuban Café.

  Folks, sadly, people here in America are on edge because of acts of terrorism.

  Jesus tells us not to fear in the scriptures. Why? Because only Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son has stated in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one cometh to the father but my me.”

Jesus is the only one that gives true peace and love. He is the only way to eternal life and all others (religions) are on sinking sand!

  I don’t fear of what any person will do because Jesus in my heart!

  Friends, come to Jesus today for he is the only way to eternal life!

Mastering the Storms of Life

In all these things we are more than conquers through him that loves us. (Romans 8:37)

  You know the storms are coming. You hear the sounding crash and booms on earth door. You feel the gust of cool wind on you face. These storms can bring fear and worry. What storms are we facing today? They are terrorism, war, covid-19 ,
famine, sickness, finances, family problems, emotional, or physical pain. The storms and feeling of sadness.  Why, because you may have loss of a loved ones. What can we do?

  We friends can have confidences in God’s word. He states that we must trust him and we will become conquers through him. Why? Because he loved us!

   There is a statement in “Streams in the Desert” by Mrs. Charles E Cowan

“Like the eagle, who sits on a crag and watches the sky as it fills with blackness, and the forked lightning’s are playing up and down, and then the other toward the storm. But he Nevers until he begins to feel the burst of breeze and he know the hurricane have struck him; with is a scream, he swings his breast to, the storm, and uses the storm to go up in the sky; away he goes, borne upward it.”

 Listen when these storms come, you must wait on him and lift. You with have a feeling of strength, rise to new heights above the storm. Why because he loves you, he will see you through and you will be anew!

How to live through fear in light of today terror tragedy? The Bible informs us that our God is able to overcome our fears from evil through faith in Jesus. Our God, through Jesus, has given us victory over our fears. Our gaze must be towards eternity. I also believe, that our God of peace, and hope through Jesus is able to keep us, guide us, and protect us from evil.

My wife has M. S and is passing through a rough patch right now. I have to rely on pass victories through faith that God will see us through.

James: Chapter 5 verses 7-11

   Are you feeling a bit blue today? Do you feel down and out for the count? I have a cure for the blues. The cure is not any easy fix for what ails you it is time consuming. I heard a story. ”After the fall in the Garden of Eden, Adam was walking with his sons Cain and Able. They passed by the ruins of Eden. One of the boys asked,” What that?”

 Adam replied, “Boys, that where your mom ate us out of house and home.”

So, folks here are some thoughts:

1.    When you feel a bit blue because of life circumstances be patient as you look towards eternity verse 7

2.    When you feel a bit blue read and be committed to God’s Word (the Psalms) it builds faith and hope. Verse 8

3.    When you feel a bit blue try not to complain and be negative in speech. Verse 9

4.     When you feel a bit blue read and receive encouragements from those whom went through rough passages as Job, the prophets, apostles and others. Verse 10

5.    When you are feeling a blue remember our Lord is tender in mercy. He will supply and replenish all our needs as he did for Job. Verse 11

Why Lord?

    Why Lord is their so much pain due to all kind of difficult circumstances? Lord, this world seems out of control! Lord evil seems to abound with more frequency. Folks, have you ever felt this way? I have, especially with this recent act of racist violence in Charleston, South Carolina against a back church.

    So, I ask,” Lord, how can I deal emotional when the World is spinning out of control?”

 

  Let’s us gleam together from Isaiah chapter 43 and find some answers.

 Let us look first at the historical perspective. Israel had sinned to the degree that judgement was set against them. The nation was run over by King Nebucanzeer, the King of Babylon. He had captured the Israelite’s and carried them into captivity.

So they were deprived, discouraged and had a feeling of hopelessness.

   My question, have we as a nation, here in America, feeling this way? Have we as a Nation sinned against the precepts in God’s Word? Have we lost our way?

I firmly believe that God is a loving, forgiving God. He can heal our Land! Why?

Isaiah 43:1 “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not for I have redeemed formed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

1.   God created you.

2.   God formed you.

3.   God redeemed you.

4.   God knows your name.

5.   God said don’t fear.

Surving The Cracking

The cracking of America is like a carton of eggs which fell on a floor and is all cracked up. So, why is our country all cracked up? How can we as Christians survive this cracked up society?

 

How is our country cracking up?  We are seeing, the promotion of the progressives agendas. We are also seeing the erosions of our freedoms, the freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of religion. We are seeing moral erosions’, the breakdown of our respect for authorities, law and order, and the traditional marriage.

 

How can we survive in this ever changing climate of continuing, spiraling, cracking of our country?

 

 

Last night on Fox news channel there was a segment on Judge Jeanine. The segment concerned a young lady who left Islam for Christianity. This brave Lady faced intense persecution to become a Christian.

 

  What drew her in; her faith in God’s amazing Grace and his Love.

 

What will, guide us through this cracking of our culture in America. We must place our faith in God’s awesome power to see us through. We must also live out our faith in a godless society no matter the cost to our families and ourselves.

 

I am reminded of a scripture verse Matthew 17:20.”And Jesus said unto them ,because of you unbelief: verily I say unto you if you have grain as a mustard see you shall say unto this mountain ,Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

The president then briefly gave in to temptation, and deviated from his prepared remarks.

“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Mr. Obama said. “And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned. But that’s a topic for another day.”

The audience in the East Room murmured, some with apparent disapproval, as others laughed. The president did not elaborate on what he meant, and returned to his address.

“I was about to veer off,” Mr. Obama told the crowd. “I’m pulling it back.” “

Why? Is the President making these statements? I believe it’s his personal theology that prompts him to make these statements.

President Obama was taught and tutored by Rev. Jeremiah Wright his Pastor for twenty years!

His pastor is preaching “Black Liberation Theology” What is it? It is social, progressive, liberal theology. This theology is also called neo-orthodoxy. They don’t believe the Bible as God’s verbal, inspired, inerrant Word of God. They believe that you work your ethics towards the Bible and not from the Bible. It’s the biggest and oldest devilish lie! I also believe Mrs. Clinton believe this.

I firmly believe they are wrong biblically, period! I firmly believe that the same Holy Ghost power that raised Jesus from the dead and gave me the power to be saved through the blood of Jesus is the same power that came upon holy men to write the bible. Second Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God.”

2 Peter 1:21 “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but by holy men of God spoke moved by the Holy Ghost.”

  That’s why they support same sex marriage and all forms of homosexuality! They deny God’s Word and it’s teaching on marriage and on homosexuality Romans 1.

I believe this calling out Chistians is pure evil. I believe it's a devlish lie!

I believe we must make a stand, verbally for Biblical truth, or lose our counrty and it's freedoms!

   Today, we live in a world that the progressives in America and radical Islam by their attacking attitudes and actions express a hate for Christians. They despise our freedoms of expression and religion.

Hebrews Chapter 11 Faith chapter verse 39 and 40:” And these all having received witness through faith, received not the promise.

God having promised some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

 

 In Kenya and all over the Middle East Christians are being killed, tortured, raped etc. What these radicals Islamic folks don’t understand that Jesus arose from the dead! He is alive and they can never take this away! The tomb is empty and all those that trust Him will live forever!!!

The progressives here in America can do and say what they want Jesus is alive! He arose!

Our faith and love in Jesus makes us face persecutions with unending courage! Why because will not get virgins but eternal life!!!

How to Postively Respond in Life Critical Conversations?

Col. 4:6 “Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you have the right response for everyone.”

 

How can we respond rightly to people who are speaking to us concerning their concerns, or needs whether it is positive or negative?

 

The Bible words states that when we respond to people needs we must be gracious and attractive.

What is gracious responding? We respond kindly with a kindly spirit. What is attractive speaking? Jesus said, “Have salt in yourselves” Luke 14:34 it the wholesomeness we speak. We need to speak with wisdom, gracious and salt.

Sometimes we get so wrapped in our needs than their needs. We want to be heard first.

I firmly believe that at times need to listen more than talk. How can we do this? We need to focus on people’s words, facial expressions and their body language. We need to speak slowly, lowly, and listen. We need be sensitive to our tone and our pitch as we speak to people.

Facing Life Fears

No Fear Mon!!!!!

 

 

"I am coming for you!" says Isis extremist! We live in a world with so much life changing events. What must we do?  We must fear no man! Our God is control of our lives.

Isaiah 44:1-8                                                                                                                               verse1 yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

 Verse 2 Thus saith the Lord made thousand formed thee from the womb, which will help thee, O Jacob, my servant; and thou Jerurun, there is no other beside me thou I have chosen.

Verse 6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lords of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God.

 

What is this passage saying to me?  Eddie has no Fear Mon!

1.    God is saying, “I am God! Period there is no other. I am in control of your future!”

2.    God is also saying, “I made you and formed you thus I am your God and I am in control of your future.”

3.     God is lastly saying, “I am the first and the last. I am in control of your future!”

 

In one of my pastorates I had a threat on my life. I had a call on a Sunday morning that someone was coming to kill me by bring a gun to church. Well, I was in the sanctuary. I saw through the window a car had pulled up.  I also saw a woman and a child came out of the car and hurriedly came down the hallway. I stood at the entrance of the sanctuary. My heart was beating very fast. I felt a rush and the power and presence of God.

 

 I said to the anxious woman, “Come in”

She said,” I cannot come in.”

Why? I said.

Don’t you see someone with a sword standing by you!

No! I replied with a feeling of protection

Yes! There is someone beside you, I cannot come in!

Well, with that she turned and panicky and hurriedly the woman left the building.

 

   Dearest friends, our God is in control of our destiny!! Our God, the Lord Jesus Christ will never forsake us no matter what life events will throw at us. I firmly believe thrust him and him alone and fear not. God will redeem us!

1. Follow love

 

2. Love the brethren agape sacrifically

 

3.Love the persecuted

 

 

4. Love your family and your spouces, avoid and flee sexual immorality ( adultry)

 

 

5. Love not covetousness and be content. God will provide for you! God and God alone is your helper!

 

 

6.Love , God's love, overcomes fear Psalm 118:6

 

 

7.Love your Pastor

 

8.Jesus Christ will never change

       We, as Cristians must get off our High Horse??? Hmmmm, interesting! Isis is a radical muslim o religion, killing , rapeing, crucifying ,and fry working people of all faiths even muslims today!  We as christians and people of all faith must get off our high horses? ! HMMMM ! comparing us to the 1000 crusades!

Barack Obama is motivated by  Black Liberation  theologian, Jermy  Wright , " Black Liberation theologhy is social gospel, neo orthodxy, far left liberal gospel! They dont believe  that the Bible is verbal inpired , inerrant Word of God! So you are justified,and   twist the Gospel to meet thier ends.They believe you our way work your ethics towards the Bible.The  ends justify the means!

 

Mr. President,  we  as chritians dont kill to convert people to Christ! We dont compare the past to the present sin, evil , wicked  sin!

 

 

  We don"t chopp heads off , burn , crucfy, beat, rape people in the name of God to convert!

 

   

 

    Why is christianity different from the muslim religion and others ?  Galatians chapter 1 : 1-4   Paul an apostle ,( not of men , neither by men, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.."

 

Jesus  is God only begotten Son, born through a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified , died, buried and rose from the dead! No other religion as done this! all other faiths are sinking sand!!!

 

The way to heaven is by repenting of your sins and  trusting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. It is not of works!!!! You cannot work your way to heaven!
