Can an Ameica be a Happy and Caring Nation again?

     Sunday of 27^th 2012 there was an article in fox news.com concerning a World War 2 veterans, he is eighty six years old. He went to pump gas at a gas station, in Detroit, Michigan, when he was attacked by several people beaten and had his car high jacked. You know what the real clincher here is, that no for some time come to help him? He had to crawl because they broke his leg, away from the gas pumps.

   This has happened so many times in the times we are living in. We use to be a happy and caring nation. So, what has happened to us that have made us so unhappy and uncaring?

      Today, 08/16/2014, we see again a nation at war with itself.A nation in crises because of moral decay.

I believe when a nation refuses to worship, the one true God and also when they believe that any nation forget God and stop leaning on him, they will become uncaring and not blessed  by the one true God.

  The scriptures state in Psalm 33:12.”Blessed is a nation whose God is the Lord….”

  The word blessed means happy. So happy, joyful is a nation whose God is the Lord. That is a nation that worships God. God is number one in their lives.

Dear Friends, I believe that when America and the people in this great country return back to God and the principles in His Word, He will return and bless us again. I believe we will be caring and happy Nation again.

Andrew Jackson said, “The Bible is the rock upon which our Republic rest.”

Daniel Webster said, “If we abide by the principles in taught in the Bible our country will continue to prosper, but if we and our prosperity neglect it instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us, and bury our glory in profound obscurity.

America can be great again,be caring, if we desire, seek and pray for a revival in our land! Call upon the Lord Thy God for divine intervention.

Oh Dear God, use me, let revival begin in me Oh,Lord.I repent and ask you to fill me with the Holy Gost in Jesus name, amen!

       We have seen this week 08/14/2014 riots and civil diobedience in the street.
                                                                              I am saddened of a death of a youth, the hurting of his family and the police officer family.

      We seen world wide persecutions agaginst the christians.

  

      My question, what did our founding fathers stated about God and the nation?

      1620 there was the The Mayflower Packet

1643 – Construction of the New England Confederation

   “We here as we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aim, namely to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Chits and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospel in purity and peace.”

   “If you are not governed by God you will be ruled by tyrants.”

           The list can go on and on but our founding father and many who signed the declaration of independence were Baptist ministers whom placed their lives on the line by signing the declaration of independence.

            I believe unless we turn back to God and repent we will expertise a disaster like we have never seen before!

                              

            Time is running out

      The average age of the world‘s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations progressed through these sequences:

          From bondage to spiritual faith

          From spiritual faith to great       courage,

           From course to liberty

           From liberty to Abundance

           From abundance to selfishness

           From Compliance to Apathy

           From a pay to dependency

           From  dependency to back again bondage.

     Why are we in this mess. Why are their looting. I believe we are in a moral crisis. America has turned it's back on God biblical precepts and commandments.

              Will God continue to bless our Nation? Will this Nation continue to be return back to God? What are some concepts for us as Americans to be?

                    In closing, can America be great again? That was seen in many of our founding fathers,

                  We will see in part two the answers to this pressing question.

The Valley  of Fear

     Fear! I believe is one of life’s greatest valleys that all of us will go through time and time again and it can cripple us if we allow it to.

    Whitney Houston one the most gifted singers of our times, whom just passed away had valley of fears. That may have contributed to her untimely death. For this reason people deal with it differently, some take drugs, some become recluse, some work more, and some indulge in life pleasures and some trust God.

                                                                                     The valley of fears comes in many forms losing a love one, maybe a job, friends, beauty, finance, riding a car, taking a train, performing before people or may be the government you live under and the list can go on and on. Question is how we can deal with it.

    The scriptures states in 2 Tim 1:7, “For God has not given us the spirit of fear but power, of love and a sound mind.”

    First, God has not given us the spirit of fear. God has not given us to be a coward, fearful or to be afraid. That is, oh my, oh my, what am I going to do? That is an attitude of indecision.

    Additionally God has given us the spirit, (the nature) of power which means to endure, hold on, to suffer, to die- victorious.

   In addition God has given us love of full understanding and the corresponding purpose which is the fruit of faith. Love faces and conquers the world hostilities.      God also has given us a sound mind which means he has given us the ability to have self-control of our mind. It also means not to act and make rash decisions that could lead to disastrous results.

  I heard a story someone told the other day about fear. .

  A missionary unexpectedly met a lion in the jungle. Not seeing any way to escape, he fell on his knees in prayer. He was comforted to see the lion kneeling next to him.

  “Dear Brother, how delightful to join you in prayer when only a moment ago I feared for my life,” the missionary said

  “Don’t interrupt,” said the lion,” I am just saying grace.”

  Dear friends, everybody sooner or later will go through the valley of some type of fear. The question is how will you face it?

 As for me, I have to continually remind myself, to trust in God and lean on 2 Tim. Chapter 1; 7

 Religious Liberty! 

No To Hillary intrusion into churches!

    Can the government interfere in the internal affairs of the church? I believe that God gave the government to give order to society but not to order society!

The Bill of Rights:

Amendment 1: Congress shall make no law respect an establishment of religion, or prohibit the free exercise hereof…

.

     In Acts 13 :1-7 God tell us that he gave us government to guide our life but in Romans 5:29, He also said, “But Peter and the other apostles answered and said, “We ought to obey God than man.”

    In Baker's Dictionary of Christian ethics, he states, “He must not accede to a law or command which would compel to violate a commandment of God.”

This week we saw a government attempting to compel religious institutions to accept their health care plan over our religious conscience liberty, even though they have now back peddle.Why was this an issue in the first place?
                                                                We  have seen also that in Houston, Texas a Mayor and city council demanding ministers to turn over their sermons, tapes ect. because they stand and preach against immorality!

The deception was in appealing to our emotions on contraceptives for needy people and the issue of abortion! We call this secular humanism!

The main focus is our religious liberty! If we allow this intrusion of government compelling us what and what not to do, where do this thought pattern lead to.

No! This focus is evil and wrong! No matter what religion we believe in, there are some thing’s we all should stand for and that is our religious liberties!

Former President Ronald Regan wrote me a letter, November 12^th 1982. I have it framed in my office.

It was concerning the religious liberty issues in a Nebraska dispute in the area of teacher certification and other forms of state regulations for church operated schools.

In closing, He stated to me,” It is my hope and expectations that the citizens and state authorities in Nebraska will arrive at an orderly resolution of this dispute in a manner that respects both freedom of religion and quality of education.

      Dear friends, God gave us the government to govern our lives, to give us order but He did not give government the right to compel and tell us what to do or not to do as it relates to our churches, denominations or to our religious institutions.

We have the right of free exercise hereof period!

This issue is not about contraceptives but about our freedom to exercise our religious liberties and our religious consciences.

       In closing, God gave us the government to govern our lives but not to compel us to live and accept what they want us to do or not to do. Government must not interfere with our internal, religious institutions. I believe we must stand together for our free exercise of religion, even if it sends us to prison or martyrdom!
