How we deal Tragedy?

How can we get strength to go through a Tragedy?

This week,July, 20th 2012 we have seen in Colorado, a sad week and day where we saw an evil person shot, killed and destroy so many lives!
How can we bear these dreadful feelings of waves of emotions! I believe dear friend that our strength come from the scriptures.
John 5:39 ‘You search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it these that bear witness of me.”
Are you lonely today, do you feel empty today and blue and confused! Hurts and pains have invaded your life unwittingly! What to do?
Strength comes from reading the scriptures!
“So then faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the word of God.”
Romans 10:17
God love you! Then why was this man took so many lives? Why has this happened to good people??? I believe that we live in a fallen, evil world. There are no easy answers but rest assured, God does love and care for you. He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for you!
He giveth power to the faint;and to them that have in might he increaseth strength.”
                              Isaiah 40:29
God loves you, continue to read the scripture for strength and our prayers are with all of the families who love ones were involved in this evil tragedy!
Love.

When Government Declares Good to Be Evil | Thinking Out Lord

When Government Declares Good to Be Evil | Thinking Out Loud

Please view this link , pray and make a stand!

The Strength I get to face life day by begins with studying God's Word!

The Survival Plan That gives Me Strength to Live day by day

Prayer
  Bible Study                                Church
Many Christians estimate difficulties in the light of their own resources, and thus attempt little and often fail in the little they attempt. All God’s giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on His power and presence with them.
                                  J. Hudson Taylor
This so true and we often fail but our God is always gracious to forgive us and picks us up!
I struggle every day because of life circumstances but I always go back and at times force myself to study God’s Word. Why??????
The Bible is powerful in Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit and of joints and marrows, and is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Martin Luther said, “The Bible is alive, it speaks to me.it has feet, it runs after me .it has hands it lays hold on me.”
Dear friends, being saved is awesome but studying his word day by day, gives us the strength to face the day ahead of us! You must fuel your lives with God's Word!                                                                               I will be sharing more on this first part of the triangle………..

How can I Have Strengh to Live Day By Day?

How can I Have Strength to Live Day By Day?

1 John 2:14
I have written you, fathers, because you have known
Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men,
Because you are strong, and                           the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.
Where does strength come from to face life day by day by day?????
How can we tap into that power???
I know personally, some of the struggles people can go through day by day! The discouragements, failures and success!
I have faced the first struggles of being a teenager, struggles of going to school, colleges and receiving passing grades. Struggles of finding a good Godly wife, struggles of being newlyweds and raising a family on a tight budget. Struggles of pastoring small and large churches! Struggle of having major surgery!
I had faced the struggles of losing jobs and having to be on food stamps, struggle of going back to school at fifty to retool, so that I can teach at schools.
I also face struggles to teach the children both in elementary and secondary levels. I faced the struggle of caring for my wife who has RSD and M.S and the struggles of losing loved ones, the struggles of being alone and feeling alone. The struggles of being at the central attention of lies and slanders being told against you!
So, how did I develop the strength to face life challenges day by day??????
I must admit it’s has not been easy. I have failed at times, continually asking God to forgive me and I keep moving on; there are no magic bullets to take away the pains of discouragement, depression, failures and fears!
Life is just at times not fair!!!!!!!
So, how can I find strength and be successful???
There is a triangle action plan that I am using.
Top of the triangle is prayer, the bottom of one side is bible study and the bottom of the other side of the triangle is church.
I know it sounds simple and strange but this action plan does work!
So, Eddie, please explain to me how this can give me strength to go through the day????
I will explain in the coming days………..

How to have Success in the Midst of Turblances, Battles

How to be successful in midst of Turbulence in Your Life?

2 Kings Chapter 3:1-18
I heard a story about a boy and a girl walking together on a hot, dusty road. They came upon an ice cream shop; they went in and got a double dip chocolate ice cream cone! Man it was soooooooooo good!
They went back home and explained to their mom what happened and the mother asked them how they paid for it, since they had no money!
“ Mom, I went up to the owner of the store, asked for the ice cream cone and when he gave I to me, he asked me for the money, so I told him to reach in my pocket, and get the money but be careful that you don’t touch my pet snake!”
Life is full of Changes,Challenges,Battles and Storms. I feel that some for the good and some not so good. Then comes our discouragements, the questions, why???????
2 Kings Chapter 3 gives some insight to these questions.
Verses 1-10
The Israelites were surrounded by Moabites and there was to be a battle. God allowed this, because Israel had sinned against God. They felt they had no hope because the Moabites army was great and only God could help them.
Sometimes God will allow turbulences to come into our lives, because we choose as a person or as a Nation to rebel against the teachings of God and His Holy Word, and sometimes it’s just life, some examples are: wild fires, storms, an illness, loss of a job, wars. I believe that as we face these turbulences and battles, that God grace will see us through and we will receive great blessings!
2 Corinthians chapter 12:9
And he said to me. ”My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Love,
Eddie
