How can a Nation Survive the Present Storms!

A Nation Surviving the Present Storms!

Joel 1

Our country faces financial deep serious problems. Morally, spiritually, financially, and our foreign affairs face deep problems. I ask why is this happening and how can it be solved? Is there hope for the hopeless in our nation. I ask, can our Nation survive?

First, what has led us to this point? The answer is found in the Book of Joel. His message grew out of a national calamity: the invasion of a plague of locusts, drought and famine. The people of Judah moved away from obeying God and lived and enjoyed sinning! My pastor, Bro. Max Brunson stated in today’s message,” that our locust is the financial locust”. We have moved away also from God’s Biblical principles which are: Same sex marriage, greed, and selfishness.

The next question is how can it be solved? In Joel chapter 2:12-17, God’s answer is for us as a Nation is too fast, pray, confess our sins and return back to the biblical principles  that has made our nation great in the past. It’s not through good economics, election of a president but we the people returning back to God! If we don’t then, America will perish and will be gone as all the other great nations!

Dear friends, we need to fast, pray, and confess our sins as a nation, in order to experience another great spiritual awakening. Jesus is the only answer! Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh to the Father but by me!

Come to Jesus today!”

Be Blessed!

P.S. I ask you to pray for my Uncle Loyd Bardowell who is very sick, for God to heal him, comfort him and his family. Uncle Loyd is a great Southern Baptist Evangelist. He led me to Jesus  during a preaching crusade in 1967 in Kingston,Jamaica W.I and because of that, I am a pastor/evangelist of the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Son of the Living God! Thank you Uncle and also pray for the famlies of the four Brave Americans who gave their lives for us in Bengazi, Lybia.
