How to Receive Great Joy During Difficult Times?

How to Receive Great Joy in Difficult Times?

2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and forgive their sins, and will heal their land.”

I believe for a nation or the people of a nation to have joy during difficult times they must be open to follow some biblical principles.

Revival does not begin with the lost but with the Christians! In turn the nation will be healed.

The first Principle in receiving great joy is that we as a body of believers need to have a self check! Are we God's people?

Notice the scriptures states:” If my people who are called by my name…”
What then is a Christian? The other day we saw a terrorist in Europe killed people because he states he is a Christian. Ms. Quinn a N.Y writer on Bill O’Reilley stated he (the terrorist) is a Christian because he said he is!
Oh! My! How wrong she is. A Christian is not someone who attends church, baptized, do good works, parents or grandparents were Christians, or they were born in the church! Belong to a particular church!
I was baptized Greek Orthodox and that is a great denomination but being baptized into this church does not make me a Christian!
How does one become a Christian?

We are the prodigal son.
We went to the big city and blew our wad.
We went back home and father forgave us and gave us another wad.

We went back home and father forgave us than sold us as slaves to the Chinese
to pay for our wads.
