God Answers to Our Fears
Fears are real today! They are running rampant! Fear of losing your life, health, job, mate, finances, home your kids, close situations on and on and on. There are so many!
The good news is that God has an answer in His Word!
Mark 14:33 “And he taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and to very depressed.”
Oh my! Jesus was amazed and depressed? Even the Son of God had feelings of fear.
What does amazed from the Greek mean here? It means upset and Eddie what about the meaning of very depressed? He was very worried, distressed. In Matthew 26:37 " And He took with Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very depressed.”
He was facing the cross of pain and suffering! Jesus, my friend has been there and done that! He experience what we are experiencing! And He had victory over these feelings and emotions!
How, Eddie! How can I experience victory through my situations?

What happens when you experience the new birth?
What happens to you when you have the new birth experience?
2 Cor.5:17 “Therefore if any man is in Christ he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold all things become new.”
1 Cor. 3:16 “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
What do these passages mean?
1. You are a new person.
2. You have a change in attitude, habits, speech and actions
Therefore you are saying that I must be perfect.No,you are not perfect but you will not have a desire to habitually continually live in sin.
Have you been born again? Have you changed? Can the people around you tell the difference between you and the worldly fleshly actions?
It is not being religious and doing good works but knowing Him and the power of the resurrection!
How do I experience the new birth? Call upon Him,"Jesus, come into by heart and forgive me of my sins."

How to Experience Happiness!
We saw a new birth brings a new nature within you and your earthly or fleshly wants to change. God implants in you His nature to help you chose to live for Him.
How this new found happiness can happen? Roman 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Awesome!
God loves you very much and he wants you to be happy and experience abundant life.
This cannot come about by being religious but by calling to him saying,” Jesus please forgives me today and come into my heart.”

This is living the good life!
What can the new birth do for me? How do I know if I have ever experienced a new birth?
2 Peter 1:4 …“be partakers of a divine nature…” When Christ comes into your heart He implanted His nature in you! Wow!
Ezekiel 36:26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a new flesh.
Verse 27” And I will put my sprit within you and cause you to walk in my statues, and you shall keep mine ordinances, and do them.”
Here is what happens to you when you are born again:
1. You have a new heart
2. You have a new spirit
3. Your stony heart is gone
4. You will have a new flesh
5. You will obey His Word
6. You will keep His ordinances, walk in them and life is worth the living!

Playing Ping Pong?
Why is life playing Ping Pong with me?
Nervous man: “I’ve got butterflies in my stomach.”
Doctor: “Here, take an aspirin.”
Nervous man: “I just did. Now they’re playing Ping Pong with it.”
Do you ever feel that life is playing Ping Pong with You? Back and forward, back and forward!
In John 3: 3-7 Jesus tell Nicodemus to begin living you must be born again. What does Jesus mean?
The Holy Spirit must be implanted in his heart. This new implanting is not of works, not we do, or did but what Jesus did on the cross. Something has to happen within you! There has got to be a time and place where you realize you are a sinner and you need Jesus to come into your heart!
Life and living in this crazy world can get real crazy and confusing but knowing Jesus, having a rebirth can really give living a new meaning!

How can I Begin Again?
How can I Begin Again?
I have made so many mistakes in life,can I begin again? I feel like a failure, hopeless and meaningless. Is it possible to begin again? Yes, dear friend you can through Christ help all things are possible!
The Bible states in John chapter 3:1-7 that to begin life all over is that you must be born again. What does this mean? How is it possible to be born again? Listen to what the scriptures states,” Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again;he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Religion and being religious cannot help you to begin life all over again, because it’s what we do and not what Jesus did for us!Belonging to a church,being sprinkled or studying scriptures and doing good works all of these are good, but none of these can help you to begin life all over again.The bible states in Galatians,”For by grace are you saved through faith and not of yourself. It’s the gift of God and not of works lest any man should boast.”

How might a Nation in the midst of Crises be able to experience success?
How might a Nation in the midst of crisis be able to experience Success?
Text Psalm 33:12
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for His own inheritance.”
In 1620 –Mayflower Compact states,” In the name of God,amen Having undertaken for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith… do...solemnly and mutually in the presence of God covenant and combine ourselves together…”
Our founding fathers depended on God to guide our nation!
How can we experience success as a nation!
First, I believe a nation can experience success if we come back to the basic principle that we must lean on God and His word.
The scriptures states that “Blessed is a nation whose God is the Lord.” So happy is a nation who trusts in God and His word.
Andrew Jackson said: “The Bible is the Rock upon which our Republic rest.”
We will be successful as a Nation if we trust in God and His word.

I have failed again by Moses Chase
Here is a poem I read by Moses Chase
I've failed again.
I thought it would be different this time:
I was determined to act the way I wanted,
and that thought made me glad.
Now I am low.
I want to pick myself up and forget it.
to tell myself,
" So what,you are only human.
You'll do better next time."
But will I?
will I do better next time?
If I get this right, I will fail at something else.
Everywhere I look,
I find people wanting more of me than I am able to give.
There is no escaping it.
Life bristles with rules and regulations and expectations.
And if you think you have to measure up
in order to be worth anything,
you may as well admit it:
You''re wothless.
Worthless
What does Jesus has to do with us?
Most of my friends think that He is just more rules.
Good rules sure:
what's the diffrence if I don't measure up?
But my friends are wrong this time.
What Jesus is really about,most of all,
is forgiveness and love.
No matter what.

What happens To Us When We have a Moral Meltdown

When Samson had a moral melt down several things happened to him:
1. Samson lost his power.
2. Samson lost his life.
3. Samson lost respect.
4. Samson lost his testimony.
5. Samson lost his usefulness.
1 John5:16 ”If any man sees his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death; I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Verse 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin unto death.”
Samson paid the ultimate price for sinning against God.
Dr, Wiersbe said that he had power to conquer but he could not conquer self. He had set the Philistines on fire but he could not control his own lust and he could break bonds but he could not the bonds of sin.
When an individual or a country has a moral melt down they lose power, respect, testimony and their usefulness!
Dear friend, God loves you very much! He gave His only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for you! Turn your eyes upon Jesus today! Ask him to come in and forgive you!He will forgive you and restore you.

Are We Culturely Backward?
Are We Culturely Backward?
Judges 14-19
Chris Matthews on mnbc made statement which eluded to Christians, and seniors and other religions that uphold moral values are culturally backward! Wow!
In Judges 14-19 we see Samson handsome and very powerful fall and lost it all over sex and infidelity. Why? Because he fell into the perils of fortune, fame, power and pleasure. Listen, it could happen to anybody!
What steps led him to have a moral melt down? are there lessons that we can learn from?
1. How about respect for one's self!
Judges 14:1-9 Samson did not respect his family values and loyalty to these values, nor to the biblical teachings.
First he said.” Dad and mom I found a woman but she does not share our faith, our family values.” So they said no! He said yes!
Verse 3 “….and Samson said unto his father. Get her for me; for she pleased me well.” Verse 4 but his father and mother knew not that it was of the Lord…” Here it is my friends, the secular world's attitude about family value. It is not your family values and the teachings of the Bible that culturally backward's... it’s our attitude towards one self and the scriptures, it’s what I want!
Dear friend, God loves you and He has given us His word for us to be successful. I call on all to turn to the Lord Thy God! To repent so God can bless our nation again and avoid a meltdown.

Melt down when something burns to the very core and exposing terrible danger and harm. Like a nuclear facility, somebody just losing their emotions, or someone morally falling apart.
Our country is in a melt down! In this passage God has a message to us how we can avoid a meltdown in our country!
What are the seeds that lead us to a melt down? Today so many people are mocking God. The bible states in the book of Galatians 6:7” Be not deceived; God is not mocked: whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap. For he that soweth to his flesh, shall of his flesh reap corruption…”
So what are the four perils that lead a nation to a meltdown 1.Forutune-the get rich quick attitude?
2. Fame
3, Power which means to gain control
4. Pleasure which means to desire satisfaction.

Was Joseph day a thing of the past? Are the temptations of life any different today? We may look different, live different, dress different but man heart is still prone to rebel!
Temptation is normal but giving into it is not! Joseph said NO! He ran and God blessed him in prison! Also in life!
The bible states in Mark 10:9 “What God hath joined together let no man put asunder” Infidelity is sin and it is not normal. Someone said on one of the talk shows that everybody is doing it so it must be ok. Oh really, so everybody jumps off a cliff is that ok so let’s us follow them!
Marriage is scared and it’s ordained of God! Sending sex messages and other ungodly things is sin and plain wrong!
God loves the sinner but he hates sin! God loves you very much and he is willing to forgive you today! Just say dear God forgive me of my sins and come into my heart today! He will come in and he will forgive you!

Today more than ever we need Godly leaders to lead our nation. Today again we have seen morality play an important role in our nation. Joseph in Genesis chapter 39 was a future leader because he had godly moral character he said no to sin and God blessed him and a nation, and in this passage Joshua is also a great leader because he was in tune with God.

Joseph just experience tremendous success. He had everything going for him. He had a fantastic home, money, power and fame and then came the temptation Potiphar wife. She was a doll, I mean a doll!
The bible states in verse 7 that she cast her eyes on him! What a man! She saw a handsome, successful man and she wanted him!
These past few weeks in the news we have seen several prominent men fall from power and fame.
Joseph made a choice and he choose God way over man way!
Verse 8-9 He said NO! “But he refused…how can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
Verse 10-12 we see that sin refuses to give up! In verse 13 Joseph fled! I mean friend he ran as far as he could!
Listen! We need to say No! NO! No! To sin and yes to God biblical principal no matter what!
Will you say No!

How did the Dreamer Turn Failure into Success?
How did the Dreamer turn failure into Success?
Genies Chapter 39 Joseph was sold into slavery and he continued to trust in God! He never gave up. Clouds will come, storms will rage and times will be trying but trusting me there will always will be a brighter day!
Joseph becomes prosperous in Potiphar house the captain of Pharaoh. Verse 2 “And the Lord was with him and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of the master, the Egyptian.
Verse 3 and his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.”
Do you want wealth? Do you want success? Trust in God and He will be with you!
Today! This very day America is experiencing economic problems! Why? We have turned out back against God.
I believe that no man can solve our financial problems except the Lord Thy God!
I believe that as Joseph did we must trust in God in our darkest days and He will bless us as a Nation.
God love you very much! Trust Him today and He will bless you!

My Dreams Oh My!
My dreams Oh my! What happened? Where have they gone? Why Lord? Have you ever said these words? I have so many times!
In Genesis chapter 37 we see Joseph the dreamer shared his vision, his dreams with his brothers and they hated him for it! He went out to find them in verse 17-19 and they said one to the other, Behold, this dreamer cometh. They has planned to harm him .Verses 21-36 we see him be thrown in the pit and sold off.
Wow! What a way to start a day! Could you imagine how Joseph must felt!
Well friends Joseph never gave up on his dreams as we will see. God loves you very much! Don’t let this world rob you of your dreams! Trust in the Lord even through the darkest days! Dream on. Jesus promised He will never leave us!
