How can I, or a Nation Heal from a Moral Melt down?
Text: Judges 16:23-31
Samson said in verse 28, “And Samson called unto the Lord ,and said , O Lord God , remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once God that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.”
The steps that Samson did for restoration:
• He made a decision to change
• He asks God to forgive him.
• He faced the consequences of his sin.
What will God do for us?
He will forgive us for our sins. God loves us very much that He sent His only Son, Jesus!
John 6:37 “… the one who comes to me I will by no means cast out.” Jesus accepts us as we are, because He loves us so much. He will forgive us and in return we must forgive ourselves and others who have sinned. He will restore us.
